Saturday the 21st was Abby's Last show for the circuit. She did really well and had a lot of fun with the project and can not wait to do it next year.
Out at the farm we have had 2 new litters of kittens to add to our addition. The kids love to play with them.
The 4th of July week and weekend will be a busy one for the Klahn family. This year there are 5 Klahn children showing at Stoughton Fair. We will be taking our pigs to the fair Wednesday July 2nd, Show day is Friday July 4th, and the meat animal sale is Saturday July 5th. This is the first year Stoughton is having an auction, so if your around please come and support the local FFA and 4-H kids and their projects. Below is an auction brochure and flier for the Stoughton fair
In the show this weekend Abby and the Klitzman girls did very well with their pigs. They were judged on pig classes then also on their showmanship.
We are very proud of Abby for being apart of the Ag Issue team at school. Abby plus 3 other girls have been working on their presentation on GMO's and went around to local Ag business to give their presentations in preparation for state.
The pigs are getting bigger and the kids are almost done with school. So with only 2 month left till fair things are getting busier with the pigs and the kids are working with them more each day.
